10 Places I'd Love to Travel to Before I'm 30

Wednesday, April 12, 2017

I'm turning 27 in a few weeks... eek! As I've been feeling some serious wanderlust lately, I thought it would be a good time to sit down and think about 10 places I'd like to visit/travel to before I turn 30.

Some places are further afield and some are much closer to home. Hopefully, I'll get to visit them all within the next three years!

My actual travel bucket list is much longer but that can be saved for another post. I needed to be realistic about where I can actually travel to in the next three years whilst still working full time.

Further Afield...

Southeast Asia // Somewhere I've wanted to travel for a long time but just haven't got round to it. I'd love to go to at least Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia before I turn 30.
Florida // Somewhere I've never been but I love Disney and I've always wanted to go. Think this one is on the agenda for next summer.

I would like to visit a lot more of Europe over the next few years as I always tend to travel further afield. These are just a few of the places I'd like to visit in the next three years.

Paris // Paris is always somewhere I've wanted to visit but I've never even been to France. Hopefully, I'll get there soon!
Iceland // It's always been on my bucket list to see the Northern Lights and visit the Blue Lagoon in Iceland.
Amsterdam // I've been once before on a DFDS ferry trip but when you do it that way you only end up spending an afternoon there. I'd love to visit Amsterdam again and spend a couple of days there.

Closer to Home...

I'm going to make it a goal to visit as many new places in the UK as possible over the next few years. I'd love to visit the south coast again, Scotland and Wales.

Dublin // I've never been over to Ireland, but I'd love to go over to Dublin for a weekend break.

If I get to visit most of those places before I'm 30 that would be amazing! If you're interested in seeing my whole travel bucket list, I'll post about that very soon.

Where is top of your bucket list at the moment?

  5. Paris and Amsterdam are a must! Dublin is also fab, but if you fancied going somewhere different in Ireland, try Cork. It's such a gorgeous city! Some places that I'm hoping to go to in the near future are Poland and Iceland, but the dream is to see South-East Asia, particularly Thailand and Cambodia, maybe with a trip to Bali at some point too.
